Hey lovely,
So, this weekend me and my high school friends decided to take a trip to San Francisco. This was my very first time going to San Francisco and my friends very first time too. So we had allot of fun discovering the city for the first time and just doing the touristy things.
We drove down and early in the morning so we could have all day to explore.
DAY 01:
First, we had breakfast at Mel’s Drive-In I had some delicious Belgium waffles. I ate before I could even take a picture of them, haha. They were super good fluffy and I got whoop cream and my favorite Iced Coffee with almond milk. The place was close to our hotel so we walked there.
Madame Tussauds were we walked around and took pictures. It was really fun seeing all of the celebrities. Even though they are made out of wax. It is really cool to see how much detail goes into making them and how some look literally like that person. Can we talk about how tall Sam Smith is to my 5′ 2′ 1/2 (Yes, the 1/2 counts!)??!!
After we walked around the Pier 39, we walked in to a few shops.
Can you believe we’ve all been friends since middle school and some from high school oh how time flies by.
For Dinner we went to eat Patxi’s Pizza which was also right around the corner from out hotel. Easily walkable.
That day, a friend of us went in to get a tattoo. It was fun going in to the tattoo shop. Seen all the cool art work, he got a beautiful rose on his arm. So jelly! But in the good way!
I was so close to getting one myself too, kind of chickened out last minute.
Day 2:
Golden Gate Bridge
Palace of Fine Arts Theater
Painted Ladies
Lombard Street
This was a really fun weekend. I didn’t get to do everything that I wanted to do like rent some bikes to ride around the city or visit coffee shops. It was a really quick weekend which is why I couldn’t get everything off the list. But theres always a next time.
