How To Make The Best Out Of Mondays

Happy Monday and Welcome to another blog post!

I don’t know why, but Mondays have gotten a really bad rep. Everything from Tee Shirts and Mugs to Wall Art. Trust me, I used to be the same and always look forward to Friday’s and weekends and that hasn’t changed I still do, but I have also found that Mondays have become one of my favorite days of the week.

Mondays mean a fresh start to the week. They signify another week to work towards my goals. I get the same feeling on Mondays like we all do at the beginning of the year when we are making resolutions and figuring out who we want to be for the new year.

Not to say that you need to wait till Monday to change something in your life. All I’m saying is that, Mondays are a fresh page (any other day is!)

Here are some things that I like to focus on to make my Mondays a little easier!

01. waking up at the same time every single day!

The reason most of us dislike morning is because the weekend before we probably sleep in until whatever time we wanted. Which trows our internal clock off. Having consistency with the time you wake up every single day is important. As hard as it might be, waking up even on weekends at the same time helps us keep a consistent waking up schedule.

02. Make Yourself a Hearthy Wholesome Breakfast

My favorite meal of the day hands down has to be Breakfast. Sometimes I’m craving something sweet like Pancakes with fruits. Other times I want something more savory like eggs and toast with avocado. You know what’s never missing from my breakfast?  A coffee! I love my mornings because I get to enjoy a warm cup of coffee.

03. Organize everything the weekend before

This is not just a Monday thing, I like to set up the weekend before to have my week ready ahead, but I also do this every single night. Setting up my agenda (bullet journal jan.) This way, I save time in the morning instead of waisting time wondering what I am going to wear the day of. If one of your goals is to be healthy this year, try setting up your workout clothing near your alarm and also a water bottle. Drink it, first things first and then you will be bright awake.

04. Get enough sleep

There reason we dislike Mondays so much is because we don’t get enough sleep and like I mentioned in my night routine getting enough sleep is very important to waking up early and fully rested. Determine how many hours of sleep your body needs and then go from there. Mondays will suck a little less when you feel well rested.

05. Have a Plan

If you wake up and don’t know what you are doing then Monday Mornings are going to be pointless. But if you wakeup with an intention to do everything within your power to work towards your goals the Monday Mornings and really any morning are going to inspire you to take action. Have your agenda, to-do list, phone list etc ready for you to start you morning with intention.

These are small but powerful ways in which you can make mornings suck a little less. If you try any of these out or if you already do any of them. Comment down below.

What is your favorite thing about Mondays?!
