I feel like every time I sit down to write my monthly goals post I question where the previous month went. First off, Happy August! I don’t have any major events planned for this month, so far, but I do look forward to getting back to my regular routine of school and work.
Oh, by the way! I’m taking a photography class. I thought that I would make going back to school fun by taking a creative class. I’m really interested in learning more about photography since I love blogging and they both go great hand in hand.
There are still 5 months left of 2018 and I look forward to having another successful month filled with productive and doing what I love to do most.
Without further ado here are my goals for August:
Blogging:
I’m taking two classes this semester for school, I’m working full-time, and usually, when I feel burned out I tend to put my blog on the back burner. But when I feel like myself, I love blogging which is why my goal for this month is to post on Mondays and Saturdays and post consistently content that makes me happy. If there is enough time between post, I will feel motivated to keep on writing and keep up with blogging. On the topic of my blog I also really want to focus on social media and promoting my blog and just having fun with photography.
Budget:
This summer while I was working I did really great at sticking with my budget. Monthly, I keep track of how much I’m spending and how much money is coming in. I like to keep a record of that so that I can plan wisely for things that interest me. I’ve followed this method that I would love to share with y’all in a future post.
I’m not only focusing on saving my money but also towards making more and using it for things that intestines me like traveling.
Fitness and Health:
Health and Fitness are always important and one of my top goals. Especially after finding out that I had some health issues. I want to work on creating daily healthy habits. I want to take care of my body and give it the nutrient and the physical activity that it needs. I want to walk daily, walking my dog that is and I want to workout 3x a week. I want to eat healthier, not that I don’t already but I want to reduce how much meat I consume, I want to drink more water. Most Importantly, I want to feel strong, physically and mentally.
30 Day Challenge:
I want to challenge myself this month to get out of my comfort zone. I feel like actively knowing what makes me uncomfortable is important for growth. I am the first one to admit that I hated change. However, I have found that change is important for growth. Which is why if I want to have all of these
cool adventures and do things that excite me. I’m going to get out of my comfort zone and take back control. More about this in a future post.
