Hello Lovlies,
I realized that I haven’t done a monthly recap on this blog for a while and they used to be my favorites. It’s just a great way for me to see how far I have come within those months.
Even if you don’t have a blog, share them with them down in the comments below. I would love to hear if anything exciting has been happening in your life.
01. First month living in our place.
April was the first month that we have lived in our new place, by “we” I mean my roommates and I. It’s always exciting to change up your environment because we all need a new scenery every so often. I have slowly started to purchase new items for my room. Starting with the window area. I just purchased curtains and a gold curtain rod. I can post updates to my new place if any of you guys are interested.
I have a few projects in place like DIYing a new desk and I’m excited to post about it on this blog if anyone is interested.

02. Finished paying off my credit card
As many of you may or may not know from my finances in your 20’s blog post I started Dave Ramseys Baby Steps. I am currently on Baby Step number two and I have been Gazelle intense at paying off my credit card. This month was the month that I finished paying off my credit card and it is 1/4th of my Baby Step 2 completed. It feels so good to be able to pay off my credit card because at one point I thought that a part of being an adult was having a credit card and after watching Dave’s Videos and reading his book I see that that is not the case.
This really gave me a great boost of confidence when it comes to my finances. Because I no longer wish to be control by my financial circumstance. Instead taking an action plan that will change my life. I know that the small sacrifices that I do every single day will be worth it when I reach financial freedom.

03. Spring Break and Blogging
I had my Spring Break this year and what was really surprising was that I had two weeks instead of one that I had anticipated. I didn’t do anything overly exciting. My roommates and I went to an Xcape room and it was really fun because we actually worked really well together and we did really really good. I also had so much free time that I found myself writing for my blog which is really exciting. I feel like its really difficult to feel inspire to write after a long day at work, but because I had the whole week with no plans what so every. It was really nice to just write freely.
04. Walking more regularly
One of my tips to get light weight exercise without making it feel like you are working it is just by walking every single day. I love to walk outside instead of walking in a treadmill. I’ve been walking around so often this month specifically so that I can become familiar with the area. I even got lucky one evening and found $20 on my walk. So after that I decided I never know what life is going to throw at me, so I just have to take a walk every day and keep on moving forward. And you never know what life will throw at you like money, For Instance.
05. Creating my first YouTube Video
Like I mentioned in my blog post about starting a blog. I also really wanted to start making YouTube videos. I grew up watching other people create YouTube videos and it always seem like so much fun and this month I decided okay, so I started my blog and it has been really fun. Why not start my own YouTube Channel I think that it would be really fun to create some videos.
Blog Post: Why you should start a Blog Today
My first video is a little cringe and honestly I had no idea what I was doing. But I highly encourage others to just get started even if you don’t know what you are doing. Even if it is emberassing. The best is that you did started something and the worst, well there is no worst if it doesn’t work out you tried something and you would have learned new skills. Because trust me editing a video is a skill that not everyone has.
