Can you believe it’s already NOVEMBER??! WHAT??!! that means that we are less than two months away from 2020 and that just seems insane to me. As per tradition around here I am writing my Monthly favorites. I used to love (and still do) watching Youtubers share what they love for that month It made me reflect on the things that really stood out for me for that month.
So, with out further ado, here are the things that really inspired me this month and that I used often.
01. Apple Scented Products
I don’t know what it was this season but I’m obsess with apple scented products. Every single year I go to bath and body works and pick up a few things for the season and this year I was just gravitating towards apple scented products. I bought candles, body wash, deodorant, lotions, body sprays, room scents, car scents. I really don’t know why I went apple crazy this season but It’s definitely a scent that made a big impact for me this season.
It’s definitely something to keep your eyes open for my bullet journal plan.
02. Podcasts
I’ve been getting back into listing to podcasts. I love that I can get ready in the morning and listen to a funny story or a super motivational podcast and I can get ready and eat breakfast etc. I have a 30 minute work commute so that is when I will either choose between listening to music or listening to a podcast some of the ones I have been listing to lately are
a) The Healthy Code Podcast b) Influencer c) Directionally Challenge
03. Habit app
If you are a goal digger like me (haha get it!) Then you will love this app it is great because it is simple. You just add the habit that you will like to achieve and every time you complete it you write the check mark next to it. I like it because it then shows you an overview of how you are achieving this goal and it also shows you a graph of your progress and if you just do three habits to focus on to improve its such a great tool to have. If you end up using it let me know what you think in the comments below.
06. Envelope system
I kind of got off track with my savings, but have been writing a way to get back on track with them. Towards the end of the month though I looked back on my budget and started to rebuild my emergency fund for more about my financial goals I have a whole blog post dedicated to that which I will link here (Finances)
07. Fall Fashion Staples
This is the season that I went all out with fashion. I feel in love with neutral colors and really embraced them for the fall. Specifically, I’ve been loving different shades of tans and browns. I still am planning on doing a fall fashion staples blog post.
Let me know what you guys thought about this blog post in the comments below and also what was something that stood out to you in the month of October.
