If you haven’t already, go check out my post from yesterday where I talked about my Autumn Bucketlist.
Welcome back to another monthly tradition in this blog, where I talk about my goal setting. Every month I like to focus on three main goals that I like to review daily.
September came and went in seconds, which is why now I am writing my October goals. This month is very busy for me and I can image for other people too, I have school and midterms and I have students who are testing and I still want to have time to enjoy myself.
Which also means another month of planning to continue striving to achieve my goals.
01. Enjoy October
Even though this month is jam packed with tasks to do I still want to find time to enjoy it. I find that the littlest things make me so happy like buying a new candle from Bath and Body Work or putting on a cozy and comfy sweater. Even my coffee taste better. For instance, It was raining today when I woke up and when my roommate to me I jumped out of bed and went to the patio to listen to the sound of rain before starting my day. The little things like that make a big difference, just taking that moment to enjoy the weather can change up anyones mood.
It’s my birthday this month, I turn 24 on October 29, and I usually call it my birthday month because the entire month I like to have it filled with activities and things to do. You can check out my Anticipating Autumn post where I write down some of the things that I hope to accomplish this month.
02. Wake up Early
This has always been an important goal that I like to keep up with on a consistent basis. Of course this doesn’t always go as planned. However, I know that if I want to achieve my goals I need to wake up earlier. It is a habit that I want to make.
I am a big believer in waking up early, I LOVE mornings because it is when I am the most productive. No one is up so I don’t get distracted and I feel more productive knowing everyone is still asleep and I’m achieving my goals.
03. Spend my Birthday with the people I love
This year I want to spend my birthday with family and close knit of friends. I’m still debating on what exactly I should do, but I really want to head off to a big city like L.A., San Francisco, or Seattle and explore. Nothing beats for me a birthday with a nice dinner and hitting the night out to watch the city lights over the night sky.
What are some goals that you have for this month? Any fun fall activities? Let me know in the comments below!
